Acoco Interactive has just launched PennyMe! – an app for learning to use and count US coins. Players are challenged to count out given amounts or determine the correct amount shown. Slide pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars across the screen just as you would coins on a table or in the hand.

The counting and quiz modes keep a running tally – for each amount you get correct, your “money score” increases, but get it wrong and you’re bumped back to zero! Be alert: sometimes certain coins are missing, so you’ll have to use others to reach the right amount. If you go over the amount, just slide the unneeded coins off the screen. With real coin images and sounds, PennyMe is like having a handful of coins! The Options Screen allows you to switch sound off or show coins with their respective amounts.

PopMath is a fun way for kids to practice basic math on your iPhone or iPod touch.
Six pairs of bubbles with numbers float on the screen above beautiful backgrounds. Each bubble contains a number: simply pop the corresponding bubbles!

As you progress through levels, numbers increase, and new operators are introduced: subtraction, multiplication and division.
