Play 'n' Say Vehicles

Acoco Interactive's Play 'n' Say Vehicles! is the first app for kids that features speech recognition. Kids say the names of the animated vehicles and our speech recognition engine evaluates their pronunciation.

Play 'n' Say Vehicles! has two modes of play. Advanced Mode with speech evaluation is somewhat challenging and is recommended for slightly older children or children with stronger speech skills. Basic Play, which does not evaluate speech, allows easy practice and is intended for younger kids: success animations can be enjoyed regardless of speech quality.

Every "card" in this flash card app features an animated vehicle. Audio-visual prompts encourage the child to repeat the vehicle's name. A speech bubble indicates that the app is ready for the child to speak. A microphone meter shows volume in real time. Once the child says the vehicle name, the speech recognition system evaluates his or her speech. Clear pronunciation triggers fun animations and brings in the next vehicle. In Advanced Mode, a child has three tries for each vehicle before automatically going on to the next vehicle. In Easy Mode (without speech evaluation), success is guaranteed.

Play 'n' Say Vehicles! is both fun and educational. Delightful animations, friendly voice prompts and real sounds make learning the vehicle names fun.
