Chore Hero is designed to answer the question "Who's turn is it to do this chore today?"
Doing chores should never be boring, They should be fun, rewarding, or maybe enforce a little competition.
Whether the folks in your house be roommates or family, Chore Hero provides a fun way to manage your household's chores on a weekly basis.
The light and lively interface makes it easy to schedule and view chores. You can assign a chore to various people on different days, or if you like things a little more exciting, let the app pick a person at random each time.
Reinforce the value of hard work with the reward system. The more work a person does, the more points he earns. Cash out these points when it's time to reward your diligent workers using the "Cash out" interface.
Each person gets a title depending on how much work he has done. Titles can range from "Delinquent" to "Chore Hero".

Very cool new app.
I really love this concept!
One thing that would make it a five-star necessary family app (imo):
PUSH notifications. At a preset user-defined time, the app would push a notification that X number of chores remained undone (LAZY BONES!).
And some thing that you might consider as an in-app purchase if there's interest: a "sync" system so that households with multiple iPhones / iPod Touches can update their chore lists simultaneously. Obviously, with this, you could begin to build out the interface to target small businesses as well as families.

Hi, this app is great! I'd give it a 5-star review if it also included:
- scheduling a chore with 2-weeks / 1month / ... frequency;
- scheduling a one-time task (to do list);
- push notification of chores at given times;
- reminder of chores not done.
For now, it's 4-star.

Love this app, but a few suggestions...
Hi! I just downloaded the "lite" version this app, and I love it, will most likely upgrade to the full version. Its really cute and fun to use.
However, I have a couple of suggestions:
1. I love the idea of push notifications
2. It would be cool to have a way to enter chores weekly, monthly, etc.
3. The idea of a one time task or a to-do list for running errands, etc. is also very cool.
4. How about maybe being able to take a pic from the iphone to use as an icon for a chore?
5. A reward chart would be really awesome. For example, I could cash out a portion of my points for...a new book. Or something like that. It would be fun to look back and see what rewards were earned.
Buggy issues that need fixing:
1. I can't delete a chore - the trash can is there, however all it does is clear the schedule. I'd like to be able to delete a chore entirely.
2. I have a hard time getting the sliding point bar to exactly where I want it to be - it seems to want to jump from 1 point to 3 points to 5 points. I'd also like to assign my own points value as I think some things are worth more than 5 points. This would also work well for people wanting to equate points to a dollar value (a scrolling wheel thingie would work better for me personally, although a text box would be fine too).
3. I only have one person entered in the app, but several tasks are showing up as "random" even though I've clearly scheduled myself to do the task. Not the biggest deal in the world, but would be nice if it showed up properly under Tomorrow's Chores.
